ToolKit Hub

Twelve free, self-contained tools in one place: JEE/NEET rank & cutoff predictors for exam season, developer utilities you'll actually reach for, and everyday tools for quick everyday tasks.

About ToolKit Hub

ToolKit Hub is a free collection of calculators and utilities built for three groups of people: JEE and NEET aspirants who want a quick, private way to estimate their rank or percentile before official results drop; developers who need a fast JSON formatter, regex tester, cron builder, API tester, or UUID generator without installing anything; and anyone who needs a quick QR code, a smaller image file, a word count, or an ATS-friendly resume check. Every tool runs directly in your browser — there's no sign-up, no installation, and (with the two exceptions noted in our Privacy Policy) nothing you type is sent to a server. The site is free to use and supported by advertising, which is what keeps it free.

🎓 Exam Season Tools

India-specific tools for JEE and NEET aspirants — high seasonal search demand around results time.

Tool 1

JEE Main Rank Predictor

Enter your JEE Main percentile to get an estimated All-India Rank (AIR). This uses a simplified proportional formula — NTA's real percentile is normalized across multiple exam sessions, so treat this as a ballpark, not an official number.

Estimated All-India Rank (AIR) — based on the total candidates figure above.

Formula used: estimated rank ≈ total candidates × (100 − percentile) / 100. Update the "total candidates" field each year using the official NTA figure for a closer estimate.

Tool 2

NEET Score → Percentile & Rank Estimator

Enter your NEET score (out of 720) to estimate your percentile and All-India Rank, based on an editable reference curve.

⚠ Sample curve The score-to-percentile curve below is an illustrative placeholder, not official NTA data. Before publishing this site live, replace the neetCurve array in the code with the latest official score-vs-percentile table for the current year.
Tool 3

College & Branch Cutoff Checker

Enter a rank (or use the one predicted above) to see which branches it would likely have cleared, based on the reference cutoff table.

⚠ Sample data The college/branch list below is a small illustrative sample, not real JoSAA/counselling data. Before publishing, replace the cutoffData array with the latest official opening/closing rank data from JoSAA (engineering) or MCC (medical).

💻 Developer Tools

Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing you type here is uploaded anywhere, except the API tester (which sends a request to whatever URL you give it) and the QR generator (which calls a free public QR image API).

Tool 4

JSON Formatter & Validator

Paste any JSON to pretty-print, minify, or validate it. Errors show exactly what's wrong.

Tool 5

Regex Tester

Test a regular expression against sample text and see every match highlighted, with capture groups.

Tool 6

Cron Expression Builder

Build a standard 5-field cron expression and get a plain-English description.

Tool 7

API / Webhook Tester

Send a request to any URL and inspect the response — status, headers, and body.

⚠ CORS note This runs directly in your browser, so the target server must allow cross-origin requests (CORS). It works great for your own APIs, webhook.site, and most public JSON APIs — some third-party APIs will block it.

Tool 8

UUID Generator

Generate random version-4 UUIDs, one or many at a time.

🧰 Everyday Tools

Simple, evergreen utilities people search for constantly — more competitive to rank for, but steady demand.

Tool 9

QR Code Generator

Turn any text, link, or contact detail into a scannable QR code.

Right-click (or long-press on mobile) the image to save it. Generated via a free public QR image API — for a fully self-hosted version with no external calls, swap this for a JS QR-encoding library later.

Tool 10

Image Compressor & Converter

Shrink an image's file size and optionally convert its format — all processed locally in your browser via the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Tool 11

Word & Character Counter

Live word count, character count, sentences, paragraphs, and estimated reading time.

Tool 12

Resume / ATS Keyword Checker

Paste your resume text and a job description to see how well your keywords line up — a heuristic guide, not a real ATS system.

This is a simple keyword-overlap heuristic, not a certified ATS simulator — real ATS software varies widely. Use it as a rough sanity check, not gospel.

Common questions

What's the difference between percentile and rank?

Percentile tells you what share of candidates scored at or below you (a 98 percentile means you did better than 98% of test-takers). Rank is your literal position in the full candidate list. Percentile stays fairly stable across sessions; rank depends directly on how many people appeared that year.

Why is the JEE/NEET rank predictor only an estimate?

NTA computes JEE Main percentile using normalization across multiple exam sessions/shifts, and the exact candidate count and distribution shift every year. A simple proportional formula gets you in the right neighborhood, but your official rank (once released) can differ from this estimate.

Where can I find the real, official cutoff data?

For engineering admissions, JoSAA publishes official opening and closing rank data after each counselling round on josaa.nic.in. For medical admissions, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) publishes similar data on mcc.nic.in. Always cross-check any predictor tool — including this one — against those official sources before making decisions.

Is any of my data sent to a server when I use the developer/everyday tools?

No, for almost all of them — the JSON formatter, regex tester, cron builder, UUID generator, word counter, image compressor, and ATS checker all run entirely in your browser using JavaScript; nothing you type is uploaded anywhere. Two exceptions: the API tester sends a real request to whatever URL you enter (that's the point of the tool), and the QR generator calls a free public QR image API to render the code.

Does a higher rank number mean better or worse?

Lower is better. Rank 1 is the top scorer. "Closing rank" for a college/branch means the worst (highest-numbered) rank that still got admitted in that category during the last counselling round.

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

TODO before publishing: replace [Site Name], [Your Domain], and [Your Contact Email] below with your real details. This is a generic template covering the points AdSense and most privacy laws expect — it is not legal advice. If you plan to target users in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), have a professional review it before you rely on it.

1. Who we are

[Site Name] ("we", "us", "the site") is an independently operated website offering free browser-based calculators and utility tools. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit [Your Domain] and how it is used. If you have questions, contact us at [Your Contact Email].

2. No account, no manual data collection

This site does not require you to sign up, log in, or provide any personal details to use it. The calculators and tools on this page — JSON formatter, regex tester, cron builder, UUID generator, word counter, image compressor, ATS checker, and the exam predictors — run entirely in your own browser using JavaScript. Whatever you type or upload into them (resume text, images, JSON, etc.) stays on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on any server we operate.

3. Tools that do contact external services

Two tools are exceptions, because sending data elsewhere is the point of the tool: the API/Webhook Tester sends a request directly from your browser to whatever URL you enter (we never see or store that request), and the QR Code Generator sends the text you type to a third-party public QR-image API so it can render the code image. Review those services' own policies if you paste sensitive data into either tool.

4. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising services we use may automatically log standard technical information when you visit — such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring page, and time/date of visit. This is standard server-log and analytics data; we do not combine it with any information that directly identifies you.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site may use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for: (a) essential site functionality, (b) understanding aggregate traffic and usage patterns via analytics, and (c) serving and measuring advertising, including personalized ads, via Google AdSense. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the site work. Where required by law, we will show a cookie-consent notice before non-essential cookies are set.

6. Advertising — Google AdSense

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. For more detail, see Google's own "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".

7. Analytics

We may use an analytics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, which tools are most used and which pages are most visited. Analytics data is used only to improve the site and is not sold.

8. How we use information

Any automatically-collected technical or analytics data described above is used solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site, to understand aggregate usage, and to support advertising that helps keep the tools on this site free. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what is described in this policy.

9. Data retention

We do not operate a database of user submissions, since the tools run client-side. Any logs generated by our hosting provider or third-party analytics/advertising services are retained according to those providers' own retention policies, not ours.

10. Third-party links

This site may link to external resources (for example, official exam-authority websites referenced in the disclaimer below). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites — please review their own policies separately.

11. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us so we can address it.

12. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held about you, and to opt out of certain data uses (see Section 6 for ad opt-outs). Because this site does not maintain user accounts or a personal-data database, most such requests would need to be directed to the relevant third-party service (Google, our hosting provider, or our analytics provider) that actually holds the data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the tools we offer or the services we use. The "Last updated" date at the top of this section will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
